      Hannah Bartels

Hello! My name is Hannah, and this summer I am taking part in the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program.

In school, I enjoy math and science, and I am looking forward to becoming more involved in the world of STEM as I learn to code. I think these fields are so cool and can't wait to see what is invented next! Beyond academics though, I have many other (albeit random) interests.

Here's a little more about me!

I am a rising junior at WPCP in the Class of '22.

I love to run and spend lots of my time running! I am on the track and cross country teams at my school, but my favorite thing I do within the running community is coach a Girls on the Run team through a program that encorages elementary age girls to be active. It makes me beyond happy to be able to promote all the great things about running, including sportsmanship, self-confidence, and body positivity to younger kids.

I like to create art through painting, drawing, and other media!

Some other random hobbies of mine include experimental baking, rollerblading, and ripstiking (a skateboard, but make it two wheeled).
